Is there no buttonhole on the underside?
Dan
From what i see I think these stand a chance, they look very similar in construction to collar tabs I've seen in someone's collection before, other than that I have no idea.
All the best,
Stefan
Hi Mate,
Have a look here,it may answer your question.Item #4
Heaps of fakes of these boards out there.

Hi Again,
Have a look at a similar pair on Mr Snyders house of pain and fairy tales (Snyders Treasures) ,very similar but with a button hole.
How rare would these be in reality,as rare as rocking horse poo I would feel.
I wouldn,t touch either pair with a barge pole.
Cheers
Dave
Not good. Look at the no detailing on the batons alone. A Genuine pair would sell for Thousands.

To right,I feel if Goring was presented with these the maker would have been sent on a high alltitude freefall recon over the North Sea.
The batons look like the first pattern for Heer fieldmarshals and are possibly original, but the boards and the eagles are not IMO The only way to be certain with the batons would be to see the reverse which is obviously not likely to happen. Who knows, the batons may be fakes as well, as everything else is faked these days and of course, the batons should be silver not gold.
Here are my set of batons and these were said to be real by Mike at the Marshals battons.
