Schwedter Adler

Article about: I am led to believe that this is a Dragoon Eagle badge worn on the cap between the eagle and wreath/cockade by certain units as a traditional badge. I see a similar badge in B.L Davis' book

Ade, interesting development. Went back to wwm where I found the image of the zinc adler and came across this pic of the two types of accepted badges during WW2. You'll notice that the fist one has a smaller crown and longer beak, like my one. It was also stated that the lugs were positioned more centrally on this particular badge compared to on the the wings of the large crown type. Ther's hope yet.
