Silver Thread Gebirgsjäger Arm Badge - Real or Fake
My late father loved anything Gebirgsjäger, and we have lots of original arm badges and bevos. I'm fairly comfortable with the normal versions, but there are a few variations that I can't seem to find anywhere. I've checked all the literature as well as done on line image searches. I don't see anything about a silver thread version of the edelweiss badge. Is this some sort of officer's variant, or is this a fantasy/post war version?
