    Very commonly seen and accepted as WWII, should be very cheap to buy, my pair was given to me with a helmet I purchased. Most are unissued with the cover.

    i would say these are correct for ww2 period ,i have a post war west german pair from the late 60's almost identical to this style ,a nice addition and very reasonable on the pocket

    Thank you, yes I think I will buy them, I would just expect to see some sort of stamp/ number etc on them, the Germans did put stamps/ numbers/ swastikas on everything :-)

    i would buy up a few pairs while you can john ,my post war example came in a plastic wallet ,typical of that time period ,regards james
