Default Strange fabric for printer volunteers shields

    Hello guys,
I wanted to open a reflexion on a strange cloth texture we sometimes meet collecting german foreing volunteers printed insigna. It's like an extensible fabric, like lycra texture. Does someone have opinion on it?

The first one I've encountered is a Latvian sleeve shield, bought some years ago, described as original by Latvian professionnal collectors and some other around the world.
The second one is an Idel-Ural shield made in the same fabric. When I compare this printing with originals, it seems a good one.

    Ideas are welcome.
    Thanks!
    Mictus
