Thoughts on this M43 tunic?

Picked this up at a furniture auction of all things... No one there had interest in it because well.... they were all there for furniture. There loss is my gain? Thoughts on it? Who ever wore it was small...

I dont like it, I think the material is wrong, the lining dosnt look right and nor does the insignia. I suspect its a complete fake.

To me it looked heavily tailored. You can see the belt loop holes in the front have been closed. I think it was an original tunic that was tailored after the war and then someone tried to save it later on?

I think original but as put heavyly tailored , looks like replacement top pockets have been added also
