Tunic with modified POA shield.
This is an interesting photo i would like to identify.
It is a Spiess with what looks like the standard POA sleevebadge, but he has removed the letters from the top of the shield for some strange reason. It also looks like the shield is sewn on the tunic with an clothbase, because it looks thick on the photo.
Anyone who knows why the shield is missing the letters?
The photo is found somewhere on the internet, i do not own it.

Re: Tunic with modified POA shield.
Some period photos were retouched (at the time) and this might be the case here, though why I do not know.
its just an opinion.
