Hi all, I came a cross a photo. Is this a Wehrmacht uniform?

I'm not sure, but the pocket design looks Italian to me? but I'm most likely incorrect.

The style of photo would predate the Wehrmacht in my opinion, appears more of a World War I style uniform. I would like to see the whole photo, what is ethnicity of the soldier? If it is African (appears to have dark features), I would suggest perhaps a French or as Rene states, an Italian colonial soldier, the pantaloon-esque trousers can also be associated with these colonial troops.
