    I got a lot of badges 100% original (NSKK, Kriegsmarine eagle breast, luftwaffe trapezoide m43...)

    And this patch with a handwritten label ''Insign of Berlin''

    Any idea on its use ?

    Sorry; I can't make a positive identification.

    What I can tell you is that there is no Wehrmacht connection.

    Also, it's not the coat-of-arms of the city of Berlin: Berlin's coat-of-arms also features an upright bear; but that bear is on a silver (white) background and depicted with red claws. Also, there are no swords in the design.

    Come to think of it, those are not really heraldic swords, more like foils. Perhaps it's a badge for a fencing club?

    Very good suggestion

    I thought red=communist, blue=american and in the middle=the common ennemy killed by swords... After all it was with a lot of military insignia, it is confusing

    Now, I must to make a reseach on your way.
