    I thought it might be postwar Bundeswehr? So it's definitely not? Thanks for the answer.

    I have one also,all I can tell you is I aquired it with a lot of postwar Polish and Austrian Bundesheer badges,so maybe look in that direction.....Pete.

    5 years is a long time for an answer, but I just happened to stumble over this thread on my search for something else. This is a post-war cap badge for the Austrian Air Force:Unknown cap eagle

    I have a stickpin "similar" to the eagle you have....but my wreath is closed and the eagle doesn't have tail feathers...but is marked on reverse gesetzl. geschutz ????????....when i got this many years ago i had been told it was for Ww 1 air sports......DaveUnknown cap eagleUnknown cap eagle
