    Hello,
I owned one of these years ago and your example looks fine. They found several of these 25+ years ago that were never issued and this may be one of them.

    Hello lucabrnroma,

this Kyffhäuser gorget is genuine and absolut great.
    I have a gorget with a 25 Years sign.

What makes your gorget more valuable is the case...if it's the original.

September 11, 1938 the 1st pattern insignia was to be replaced by the later 1938-version (as which is
    seen with this nice gorget).
Remarkable are the oval and round cloth parts at the reverse. It seems that the cloth partly was
removed, to replace the 1st pattern symbol in the 1938-pattern and later the pieces of cloth were
    glued on again.
Upon the arm the special oval flag-bearer's patch was to be worn.

Drawings as shown in my gorget-book with the 1st and 2nd pattern symbol/gorget. The caption
    in German is included.

Decrease the value, why? If I hadn't told, you would not have known!

The section for veterans of the Reichskriegerbund in my book is about 29 pages.
I had more material, but enough = enough! Otherwise is would have exceeded
the 704 pages as it has now!

For many the book is difficult, as it is in German texst. It is available at VDMedien.de
