Hi John, the thing is, I get to see a lot of copy tunics worn by comrades at living history events. Some are really good copies as well, while others are not so great. I would honestly put this one into the latter group.
Cheers, Ade.

John, you make me blush!
What I will try and do this year is to photograph some of these tunics. They will make a good reference thread. One or two comrades have tunics you would think were original from the outside.
Cheers, Ade.
I have to agree with Adrian, it looks like a repro to me, and not a great one at that. I hope it wasn't too expensive?

Hello Gentlemen,
Once again Adrian is right. Sorry to say, but this tunic is a modern reproduction made by the company Sturm. All its features are well known now. Comes in M36, M40 and M43. The shoulderstraps are repros as well. Good for movies or reenacting... (sorry again for the bad news even if you say that you wouldn't be surprised if it was a fake).
Thanks

Its a pity, but what you gonna do about it..
It still looks nice with a (original belt+buckle and other items).
At the time i will buy a real one, till that time this will work to.
JPhilip, does the company Sturm has a website?
I cant find it, but i dont have a lot of time to search it at the moment..
Thank you all for your reply's.
They sell through a US outlet. I will find you a link later.
