The 2nd pattern tropical tunic with the Pz tabs on the collars is very uncommon - but certainly not unknown. Excellent image.

Gentlemen, i have found another Bundesarchiv photo taken in Croismare, Lorraine, on the 19th of September 1944.
The Oberleutnant from the 15. Panzergrenadier-Division is now well visible in his tropical uniform. The Officer from the Panzerbrigade 111 and him are now watching towards the "forêt de Parroy" where the Panzer from Panzerbrigade 111 have to go...
