Weird cuff title.......

Can anyone help me? I have no idea what this says, also, if its original? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

It says Stabschef. If it is an original one I cannot say.
There were well-done fakes made many years ago.

Here a page from my in Germany published gorget-book.
The one or the other cuffband was in fact the precursor
for the later introduced "Feldherrnhalle"-gorget.

I thought it was rather clean to be an original, if anyone can come chime in, on authenticity, I would be much appreciative, thank you.
