Whistle and Lanyard.

I have had this whistle for some time now and have been waiting to find a Luftwaffe lanyard to go with to put into my Luft. Flak Impression. I was recently able to add this minty example. Now, when I finish the stand for my new mannequin, it will be that much closer to complete with the addition of this. I am still in need of a couple of Luft. K98 ammo pouches, mess tin, gas mask can and a few other things to complete it.
I have a tunic with the correct rank and matching insignia, belt, y-straps, map case, back pack, O/S cap and bread bag. I also have an extra BWB to add and an Ostfront ribbon bar.

The whistle and lanyard. The lighting makes it appear brighter, I assure you it is Luft. blue.

Here is a photo of my uncle Eugene wearing the impression that I will be re-creating. You can see clearly he is wearing a whistle and lanyard.

The tunic, I realize that this one has not been shortened but I refuse to alter an original.

The O/S cap is buried in here for now.

Well, I was able to complete the base for my mannequin. I have put what items on it that I can and I have been able to add a Luft. gas mask can but I am still in need of the straps for it. The ones that came with it are quite worn and stringy. I am also still looking for a single or set of Luft. K98 pouches and mess tin. I though I had an Ostfront ribbon bar but I guess I will have to look for one of those as well as I can't find one here. I have put a repro Luft. M43 on it for now until I can acquire an original.
