Would like more info about some uniforms & armament

    Is not the last photo a pak of some sort? Look at the shape of the shield.



    Its weird to see these rare pieces being threated as garbage- and if you buried one under you barn and dug it today you would be rich.

    I believe this is a Panther Ausf. A
    The Mantlet on the G model had a vertical chin added. I also believe I see an open hatch for the mg42 on the left front which the G models didn't have. If I'm correct it would put production date at July 43 to May 44. The only reason I have for not calling it an Ausf D model is deductive reasoning. Three times more A's were built than D's. They were very similar.
