Here are all the maker marks I've found/owned on Army daggers by TIGER. Anyone seen all of these? Small differences in size and placement are the things that set these off.

Tiger seemed to use more than any maker. Why?

None of the TIGERS are really that common either.....from what I've seen.

Not common at all, I have never had this maker on anything. I wasn`t aware that there were quite so many variations either. Thanks for another valuable reference!

PS I sure like numero uno

    Denny,
I have an early, tapered tang TIGER with a different TM.
I think it is the very first type TIGER army dagger.
    The crossguard is WKC.
    I hope you like it.

The workmanship of the scabbard bands is great.
I love the highly detailed motifs.

The Tiger with 1st WKC xguard is hard to find. The rarity comes into play when you try to find an early example like yours w/tapered tang and 1st style fittings of any type and slant grip. Tiger made no fittings they could call their own and used those purchased from other makers....
Nice Tiger you have AND in that configuration, especially with that mark, I'd say it was relatively rare.

    DJ,
    thank you for the info.
The dagger has tapered tang, but no slant grip...

Nevertheless it is one of my favorites.
