Gorgeous blade-so mirror-like in finish, it is actually difficult to get a good photo of it! Nice!

Ronnie that is a tough one to find!
It has the usual Pack1 crossguard and a plated blade, B grip and the first type logo, NICE!

Heller is one of the makers that has his Maker logo on the frontside.
They switched to a letter logo before they stopped making Heer dagger.
Hellers are Always early and can be found with Slant and B grip, i recently picked one up with the letter logo, also on the frontside ( pommel is frozen )
Looking at the scabbard, its not the standard domehead screw scabbard, instead it has two flat screws.
The screws almost look like Weyersberg, they are extremely flat.
I will add pics of the later logo, as you can see it is on the frontside

    Congratz on this beauty Ronnie!

Extremely nice and rare dagger Ronnie! It took me years to find a nice one so you were very fortunate to pick this one up. As already said Gebr. Heller only made army daggers in the early period so there are not too many around. They can be found with the trademark on both sides of the blade but most of them are like yours in my experience.

    Hi Ron

I most admitt this was the first time for me seeing the lettering logo, so looking at the last 5 i saw only this one has the later logo.
We all need some luck or a good friend Peter C. Granted me the buy 😊

Hey Ronnie, nice find! I remember when I found mine, picked it up out of other daggers due to the early fittings at a small militaria shop, pulled the blade out just a bit to see the maker and got a very nice surprise! Priced just like the common pieces around it too! mine has the maker mark in front too.. congrats!

Ger, I have only seen a few of the name only stamped examples.. not seen much I would agree! Kevin.
