I can say with comfort it is all original and I do not see any issues with it unless Gerrit arrives and beats me up with minute details I may have missed.
But for fact it is all original

To me it Looks like a good Eickhorn Type 4 Dagger also, but better Pictures from the Pommel would help.
I am not sure if that is the correct Pommel. You can see my Eick Type 4 here Army Dagger Eickhorn

Not very hard to find, but still a very nice Piece!
I like the Grip Colour very much

I think it is different from the one on the link with the type 4.

As i said to Larry i needed a clear pommel pic, as on my cellphone i just couldnnt see any detail, but i thought i saw a generic pommel instead of an eickhorn.
Here an overview Pommel generic A on the left vs Eick pommel on the right

Thanks Ger, what is a generic pommel it seems old to me, and what does it say about the dagger at whole?
    With kind regards,

Generic meaning a massed produced common fitting that were ordered from a sub contractor to meet the needs of production quotas.
Some producers used them and some producers made their own as seen in Gerrits photo on the right.

Your late period dagger has a non Eickhorn type.
Who is to say that there might have been a shortage at the Eickhorn firm of the late model fittings..none the less for the type collector it is preferred to have a whole period fitted example for their collection.

If I knew a dagger did not have that one detail ...because of self purism ..I would wait for a whole example to come around.
Other than this minute discrepancy ...this dagger for the budget minded is Very collectable
