Not only a rough life, to me it looks like a total repro, pics are to bad to realy look into it.
Need good macro pics of blade, pommel, makers logo, crossguard and scabbardbands to determen what it is, but with these pics i think its a repro.

With these better pictures I would say the dagger is original. It's a late war WKC dagger with the typical one screw "Eickhorn" scabbard and type 4 WKC crossguard.

Thx Brian for these extra pictures, way clearer now.
It is an Original very badly stored WKC type 4, the so called tomahawk model.
it has the typical WKC 1 screw scabbard throat.
