dagger identification #5.. help please?

Article about: A very nice dagger ! just look at how that portepee has not been messed with and has "welded " itself in place with age , this is great to see ( for me anyway !! )

    Beth,
    Great looking dagger. Looks to be a very early one as are most SMF armies. The crossgaurd is unique to SMF.

    It's hard to put a exact $ value of the slant grip, maybe $100.00. Without the slant grip it would be a tough dagger to sell. It's a tough market to sell these days. The max value may be around $600.00.
