    btw looking at the sideseams on the scabbardbands do they show 6 handenhanced leaves on them?
    My Spitzer had them and a couple of others i had too

    A very nice dagger Jetthead. Great pick up! Spitzer's Maker Mark is one of my favorite. I have a nice fireman's blade with that maker shown here below.

    I'm likely going to get a reference book so that I can learn more about these blades without an internet connection. This forum is a treasure trove of info and I'll likely settle on the book, "Exploring the Dress Daggers of The German Army." I've heard good things about that book.
