Default early Heer dagger by Eickhorn smal oval logo and sidescrew config

Gents here is an early Eickhorn, its a socalled sleeper, been stashed for many years.
Patina is great and funny to see thats its been wrong in the scabbard all these years.
Nice enhanced pommel and lovely 2nd pattern crossguard.
The icing on the cake is the beautiful personalisation with the owner initials!
The blade is one to love, full crossgrain with a nice black small oval logo, it of course has a tapered tang.
Just a few spots on the blade otherwise its mint!
    Enjoy this lovely early Eick!
    Regards,
    Ger

WOW Love the shadow that the Swaz wreath left after all these years....sad to see it on the wrong side..but still a sleeper as you say Ger!! Great crossgrain and the pebbling in the wreath is exceptional. Regards Larry

    Ger,

    Now your talking mate

Lovely quality early Eickhorn with small double oval trademark logo !

Really like how you can see the ghost of the crossguard imprinted in dark patina on the scabbard , personalised initials are the icing on the cake

Ger really nice early Eickhorn with a one looker beautiful personalization and patina. Heck if it was mine I would keep it backwards no denying it’s been that way for 65 years. I really am gravitating towards these personalized pieces they really add some interest. Nice addition to your collection.
