    This dagger brought to US by 63rd ID HQ Battalion vet. Looks like Generic A type to me but would like others to review and confirm. The leather piece is a blue color which I have not seen before. Dagger tight and fits nice in scabbard.

    The dagger is original. And in good shape too.

    Looks nice. Unmarked generic daggers are over looked by some people, but if they're in good shape I like them. I don't know about the blue leather but the dagger looks good over all.

    My friends father brought home from wwii. It was in a display case with his dad's medals and bronze star & purple heart certificates. All I did was wipe it off with damp cloth.

    The blue bufferpad is a luft one.
    This is a late produced dagger, supply shortness all around.
    I have np with a bufferpad taken from the luft dagger supply to finish the dagger.
    I have seen that before on late heers
