That's a typical WKC army dagger with type 4 WKC crossguard. Textbook piece. Too bad that the blade is in bad shape.

    Thanks Danny,

Yes, it is really too bad for the shape, but the seller priced it accordingly.
So, I think I will take it.

Its still a solid piece of history being whole and unmessed with.

Its better to have Hogs breath than no breath at all !!
    Priced accordingly ...go for it

Buy it and soak the blade in WD-40 for 24-48 hours. Might improve it slightly. Overall I like the look of it.

As stated textbook Wkc type 4, with the typical 1 screw scabbard throat.
A bit pity that the tip has been lost in time, but its otherwise a nice Original.

Nice one! They can't all be "Mint" and there will never be anymore originals!!

    Nice looking dagger..

I am fond of "been there" pieces and those are the types I can afford mostly. Mint daggers, I can't afford. I have been fortunate to purchase my daggers at reasonable cost and most of them have provenance to the veteran who brought war souvenirs back with them..

Glad you could add this to your collection..
