Heeres Offiziersdolch hangers: Real or Fake?

I just purchased these heer dagger hangers today. The markings lookd good but the felt backs just don't feel right. I was wondering what the experts thought.

The hangers look original to me, I don't see anything wrong with the felt. If these are fake, they are extremely well done.

The metal hardware is good, but the straps are very new looking.
It's possible they have been replaced - or perhaps the entire
piece is simply in unused condition.........
