Opinions on Heer dagger

Hello

What do you think of this Heer dagger? Maker is F.W.Höller Solingen. The blade has two small hacks in it (picture).
The seller is asking 400$ for it. I kinda think it's a good price. What do you think?

Not too bad, but there are a lot of these around without ruined/hacked
blades for a bit more dough. Then again, the portipee is worth about
$50 or so, and the blade will not be seen that much
if it's kept in the scabbard............

I would pass on it due to the blade condition.

Heer dagger are not rare.

Maybe I'll let it go as you suggest.
It's just that I find it a bit difficult finding decent Heer daggers under 600$.
But I'll keep looking

As a fellow collector I would take the 400.00 dollars and put it away for another dagger.I think it is wiser so invest in a very good example so when the time comes to resale or trade there will be no quibbling as to condition.Most of the really good Heer's seem to cost 750.00 and up.
