[QUESTION] Heer dagger - real or fake ?

I judge it to be real, but then, I also judge that here I might find more experienced collectors, whose confirmation would mean a lot.
Owner claims to have digged it on a farm.
I am of a mind to buy it and use some simichrome on its rust, opinions appreciated.

My advice to you: never buy an army dagger in bad shape. It’s a common type and with a little parience you can find a nice one for a reasonable price.
