Ger I don’t think JG. Rolf Lankers is your guy that owned this beautiful slant heer dagger as he was in the Hitler Jugend in 39 perhaps these documents are from another family member? Any pictures or names related to an officer in the albums ? Beautiful albums BTW
What is the time frame on the original production of this dagger...and the 1939 HJ date....and also the possibility of a Late war service of this possible Heer officer. Regards Larry

Tom i came to the same conclusion, its more likely his dad would have owned it.
Its quit a bizar situation.
The son & daughter sold the house of their father with everything inside.
They only emptied the vault, took out a few gold medals ( left boxes) and thats it.
The guy that owns it now didnt comes close regarding opening carton boxes.
The house is huge and the entire cellar/swimmingpool/pompstation area are covered with carton boxes.
Non are opened sofar.
He just cleaned out some German books from a shelf and after the books this dagger was rapped in a cloth.
These albums where with the books on just "1"of the shelfs.
He is living there for 2 years now and he still hasnt got time to unpack all the boxes......
The house itself has a living area of over 900 m2, so who knows whats still out there to be discovered.
I have seen the cellar with heating/pomp station for the swimming pool, he showed me all the boxes, stashed way up high....pfff
He is a teacher with a Family that has little time, as the cellar is under the entire house and contains as i could see easily 10 rooms.
Who knows whats still in the boxes or behind the other bookshelfs.
He has my email and what ever he finds it will be offered to me

#Larry# the slant are the earliest Heer daggers and dated in 1935, so Tom is right, it most be an other relative.
Tom i will take the time to read and look into the albums this weekend and i hope i will find out more about this family.
The family itself was a high placed one in the community, this house was a 1.000.000 mark house in the early sixty's..the architect was a well known famous American, funny isnt it?

Ill bet with that much stuff in the house more will come. Some really nice HJ docs in that album bet any HJ collector would love to have these the one award is for the Javelin Throw great grouping to this fellow.
