Strange equality... Alcoso heer dagger
I had this alcoso heer dagger some time now... Got in
From a respectable dealer in germany.. Paid 479 Euros for it,
Which seems a good price..
But judge for yourself.. The Strange thing about this is almost the
Exact same words from a alcoso dagger being sold at wittmanns!!
On wittmanns it says the 14 oak leaves on the pommel and on the one i purchased
From it says the 12 oak leaves on the pommel!!?
I then started to look Closer to the logo details and so on.. It slides a bit to the side
And also is a bit crude!! But some of the early alcosos i have Seen some of Them looks also a bit crude... Just have a funny feeling but could be wrong! I am not an expert on heer daggers just loved it because alcoso being my favorite maker on daggers:-)
Please look at my dagger and Tell me what your thougths are...

The dagger is original with the type 3 Alcoso crossguard and early trademark. But 479 euro is not a good price at all. The scabbard band is cracked, the scabbard has heavy corrosion-spots and the two scabbard screws are missing. If the scabbard had no issues, 479 euro would have been a good price.
I agree with Danny.. correct Alcoso third guard in later fittings (later pommel type, places this ones production around 38' 39' in my opinion not an "early" dagger as the description says) been cleaned up too.. nice grip though. Best, Kevin.
Thank you for your opinions!
It was my thougths too that it is not early but later trademark!
And that this seller maybe copipasted the text from wittmann:-)
