    BINGO ! There ya go. Congrats !

    Sometimes in this hobby, you just have to go that tough extra yardage. No guts-No glory ! You had the glory !
    Every part was numbered on this very early Weyersberg Heer dagger.

    And you found the correct pommel.
    Does it get any better ?

    Now you have a fully marked 6 weyersberg, that also confirmed the inner markings on all early weyersbergs!

    Realy looking forward to that Weyersberg with an Original pommel!

    So, got a Weyersburg pommel-- I am going to have re-tap the thread- It was stripped by the Eick pommel- Fortunately I know the right guy with European threads. Also, picked up a very cool book!Click image for larger version.

    That's a fantastic looking dagger wiki, im surprised you were willing to take such a big risk of damaging it to replace the pommel after having it the way it was for all that time, personally I would have left the Eick pommel on as this was the way it had been for years and was frozen on so may of been like that since the war or even earlier, still looks great though and hope you get the Weyersberg one on ok.
