Every part was numbered on this very early Weyersberg Heer dagger.
And you found the correct pommel.

That's a fantastic looking dagger wiki, im surprised you were willing to take such a big risk of damaging it to replace the pommel after having it the way it was for all that time, personally I would have left the Eick pommel on as this was the way it had been for years and was frozen on so may of been like that since the war or even earlier, still looks great though and hope you get the Weyersberg one on ok.
