Agreed. A good honest WKC with all the trimmings. I particularly like the snout of a beak on the eagle. As always, be Very careful about disassembling these, as the grips can be quite brittle and crack and chip very easily. The blade may possibly have been polished in the past.

Hi, you have textbook late war WKC dagger. It is very interesting that WKC used frequently C. Eickhorn´s scabbards rings - almost each late WKC scabbard has it!
Certainly nice piece which saw a lot of usage during the period - this one can tell us its history, or we just can imagine it
