    Hi Mark,

Do you have a CDN camo gas cover for the Mk.II by any chance?

They are hard to find, and I'm fortunate to acquire one.

    Regards,
    Taka

Hi Taka I do not have one in my collection yet I do know were there are two currently for sale that are nicely dated and C -/l\ marked for a respectable price though perhaps I should buy one as they are getting increasingly hard to find now that you mention it.

You should grab both of them, IMO.

Hi warbuff take some measurements of your helmet for me .
Inside dimensions: front to back side to side right were the curvature of the helmet changes to the flat part of the rim.
Outside dimensions: front to back side to side.
I will check it against my helmets and we will see what we come up with for you.

Ok I checked it against 6 other Mk II helmets of comparable size I stopped there and I am coming up with a size 7 to 7 1/8 for liner size.
I hope this helps by and by if hunting for a liner ,crucifix and other helmet components it would be more than acceptable to use early post war parts and they are a hole lot cheaper than war time manufactured components V.M.C. early post war liners will not be date marked and just have the C-/l\ stamp on them.
