Default 1941 BMB Mk II (Army?)

Hello collectors; this is my first MkII, that I bought many years ago. The shell has been made by BMB in 1941, is painted green with textured finish outside, while inside has a smooth finish. The liner, also made by BMB in 1940, is marked "I": I guess it stands for "Mark I", but hasn't the early, oval pad.
I hope everything is OK, and consistent with an Army helmet.

    Cheers,

    M.

After having bought my first army helmet the other day I'd say the paint is spot on for an army helmet.

Unfortunately I can't comment on the liner but I do know the smaller liner bolt came out later in the war. I'm sure someone else will put you right on exactly what's what.

Both shell & liner are marked I, but they are of course MkII's.
    Looks good.

A lovely example of a military use MKII helmet. Leon.

Thanks for your replies gents; about the bolt, Doug has just posted its helmet, also made by BMB in 1941, with the same, "late" small bolt. An upgrade in both the helmets?
