    Morning Steelhead one of the reasons I started this thread was to try and determine if this particular helmet was on the up and up because I have seen quite a few examples for sale floating around that have been refurbed in this manner and did not want to put it on my shelf.
    That is till I knew either way if it was a gooder as there is not a lot of reference material out there that I can find concerning retro fits by the MOD I am hoping to secure a 1944 dated Mk III for my collection soon to round things off I have just recently acquired a a 1952 dated Mk IV (1952 dated Mk IV)

    yea the mkIIIs are alot more expensive i saw one here a Canadian one go for a 150
