    Hi there

Thought I should add my RA helmet to this thread.
Its a MKII with RA flash with no maker marks on the shell and liner has J.C.S &W LTD 1939. The helmet is named to HARWOOD 1472116. Also the chinstrap is faintly marked with the same name. It has been repainted during wartime on the exterior with a sand finish whilst the original colour is still present inside.
Is there any way of finding out any info about this man?

    thanks

By all means you can place it on your website.

I have searched through the Commomnwealth War Graves Commission website and he is not listed there so it looks like he survived the war. You can ask the MOD but I think you have to prove the person is deceased.

Maybe some other source will turn up.
