Default 39 dated Tommy mkII with 38 dated liner

I picked this one up in a flea market today, looks to have been in an outbuilding for a long time, though said to have come from the Manse in Swansea and has a scratched inscription, 10th ??? St James on the brim. I altered the settings in the inscription pic to highlight it, though the "10th" did not show very well

Sadly, the liner is falling apart, but it was only £10, so not too much spent IMO.

A few new pics taken today whilst I have some free time.

Anyone have any insight into the 10th St. James scratched on the rim?

Why home front if I may ask? Also, 10th does not make sense for an address IMHO.
