    Hello all,

I came across these two lids recently and have never seen anything similar. The seller has listed them as contractor helmets however I can't dig anything up under that phrase. Any thoughts? Many thanks and warm regards to each of you.

    Piotrek,

Thank you so much! Do you think these lids would be worth the $25 each the seller is asking? It'd be a local pick up so I'd be out nothing more than an hour drive and a few dollars in gas.

    Gunny,

I will do some quick looking. Thank you!

I'd pay $25 without a second thought. Get them while you can.

My grandfather was a construction worker in the 1950s
I remember him coming home from work carrying this style helmet.

They look to be in very good condition.. $25.00 is an excellent price for these.. The webbing, and all other material seems to be in pristine unused condition..

    Hello all,

I did end up picking these up yesterday. Both are named on the sweatbands to individuals from a Company C. I'm not sure I'll be able to dig anything up about these two, however I'll give it a shot. The chinstrap's both appear to have a steel buckle and are leather in construction. I was able to negotiate these to $20 a piece as I ended up doing a bigger deal with the seller. That post will be coming up shortly! Thank you all for your wisdom and guidance!
