American DMZ MP helmet (need help)

Hey I got this helmet at a yard sale in the summer. I am assuming it is from the Korean war, becuase of the dmz formed btwn North and South Korea. Whether or nor I am correct any and all additional information will be great. Such as history, division, and value. It seems the decal means texas but I am not sure, also the name inside the liner is Walker(NOT CHUCK NORRIS!). If anyone would actually like to buy this let me know, I got it cheap so I will be fair, just send an offer.

Divisional insignia is from the US 2nd Infantry Division. They has been deployed to Korea for many many years now.

Hi Mate
What you got there is a Vietnam era liner, i got one just the sam and its marked may 69, in the head band, the DMZ aspect is North and South Vietnam not korea, the korean era liners are very similiar to the ww2 M1 type.
As for value mmm... i guess they sell for approx £30.00 on ebay.

its a vietnam era liner so the 1960's onwards.

The date info should be stamped on the liner webbing under the sweatband.It is actually on the side that is already unclipped. If you can't see it there it is long-gone worn away. If you have access to night vision equipment you should be able to see it though.

How much are you asking for it?
