Any idea what country this Brodie style helmet is from?

Article about: Has an odd looking liner that i'm not familiar with. Being sold on e-bay as a US WW1 lid.

If memory serves me correct these were produced for the civilian market and offered at local hardware stores and the like and first started showing up a few months after Pearl as there were concerns that the Japanese may even try and launch sneak attacks on the lower 48 .
I will have to look but I do remember seeing period advertising in the form of a store poster or a newspaper add offering these to the public.

    Regards Mark

Always on the look out for WW II Canadian Helmets and Cam nets to add to my collection.

Found a Canadian Mk II Medics Helmet and yes I know they are about as rare as hens teeth !!!!!
