    This is a relic of the Perth Royal Agricultural Society Show in the early 1970s-at the time many of these war surplus helmets were sold as novelty items to kids including a friend of mine (it's his)-the cheaper ones were spray painted bright psychedelic colours and the slightly more expensive ones in better condition were left in Khaki Green-I very much wish I had bought one at the time. C'est la garish.

    Wow, wish i had known all i used to get at the Queensland Show was the Civil War Caps
