Article about: Hi, I'm pretty sure the Belgiums & even the Dutch used WW2 British helmets after the war, & if marked with the national flag how could you know if it was done WW2 or post war? The 4

    Actually, I'm pretty sure it is the red/blue artillery badge - he also seems to have the badge on his epaulettes...

    Year = 1945-6 I reckon...

    The badge on the epaulettes is difficult to recognize , but I agree the form doesn't look like an engineer badge.
    I am not going to keep him it will come up for sale very soon.
