    A British Army WW2 paratroop combat helmet, dated 1944, with foam padded leather liner, and webbed chin strap. Retains nearly all of the original paint finish. The liner is stamped "BMB 1944".this is the 2nd one i have found in 3 weeks.this one is very nice..not had the paint re-done..all ww2....

    yes this one is $1300 us.i do not know if this is to much or not.but it is a very nice one and all original paint from ww2.it has been in the family of the man it belong to from the war.so after the war he got out and it was put away.been in a box for 70yrs...

    He was in the 6th Airborne Division in Normandy..so it has be there..

    Did you get any more details on him, name, rank, number, battalion etc...?

    Great to know he was 6th Airborne Division, but even better if you know more.
