British Home Guard marked steel helmet

Article about: This is quite a rare helmet. It is marked to the London Home Guard "S" Zone. `S` zone ran from Hamstead to Elstree. This helmet was found in a loft and was very kindly given to me,

    Missed this one first time around Ade , was the oakleaf design peculiar to London ?
