    Default British (?) HSAT flash

Dear collectors, a friend of mine has this para helmet with that hand painted insignia on the side: I wonder if it could be a Recce flash; what do you think? (not sure if it's a wartime or post war specimen).

    Regards,

    M.

It is green and so Recce.

The Recce Corps was disbanded in 1946.

I would need to see much better close up pics to say if original or not.

    Cheers, Ade.

Ok Adrian. He's mainly a German WWI and WWII helmets, not an expert on British helmets, so any help will be appreciated.
For what I saw, the markings on the leather band are unreadable.
Did the Recce fight in Italy also?
