British Paratrooper Helmet?

Hi guys.Need a bit of advice on this one, found it in my local classifieds, being advertised as '' WW2 British Paratrooper Helmet''.Don't know much about them.Is it ww2 era, is it British?Any advice is appreciated.Thanks.

Hi Ted it is actually a Mk II HSRAC so a tankers helmet and a post war model IMO.

As Mark posted, post WWII tankers lid. Not paras and not wartime though they are starting to go up in value, but if its more than about £30 or so its too expensive.

It's also had some holes filled where normally the fixing rivets for an despatch riders liner would go???
