There is a strong possibility that this is a Danish re-work of a British Para helmet, done after the Second World War. A lot of surplus material was repurposed in this way. The strap is typical of this Danish re-work, but they also usually have the cross-shaped rubber srown-pad bolted into the crown of the helmet, which I can;t see here. But then these helmets were being put together from boxes of bits, so no certainty they are all identical. If this is what it is, it is something comparatively uncommon.
