Looks to be conveniently damaged where the date should be, like some other post war para helmets i have seen.
I would leave this one well alone, too many issues.
yes looks to have issues there are better helmets out there

It's the wartime BMB manufacturer's stamp; they used a different stamp after the war. When I see the watermark I can only imagine it is VERY expensie.
