Lately i purchased this brodie helmet from antique dealer in here.
And my question for this forum is, from which country this brodie originated? Is it british or australian?
There's a stamp marking "III 1941" and the helmet got a rolled edge.
    Thank you for the advance.

Its not Australian, because of the metal band on the rim.I would guess English, are there any other stamps on the Lid.Usually English helmets have makers marks stamped near the Chin strap Lugs. Also do you have any pictures of the inside, maybe the liner is marked too
    Cheers Mick

Thank you for the explanation Mick. Unfortunately the helmet doesn't have any liner again. For the truth is i never found a complete set of ww2 helmet in here. Almost all of them is just plain shell.
Is there any possibility this helmet was from the British-Indian unit?

The chin strap lug marked MKIII and dated 1941 is that of a British MKII helmet. MKII's were issued to the Dutch during the war and later re-worked and used with the Dutch CD.

I read somewhere that the British sent units to the Dutch East Indies after the war to help the Dutch surpress the independance movement.
The link below is to picture below wich shows an Indian unit with captured fighters.
